BRAIN, N. Y. —An estimated 4 million men worldwide suffer from erectile dysfunction. There are many ways to help. But a new study shows that sildenafil citrate, marketed as Viagra, can improve men’s erections, even when they don’t want to take the pill.
The study, from the American Journal of Impotence Research, analyzed data from more than 3,000 men who had taken sildenafil since it was first approved in the United States in 2003. Those who took the drug reported significantly better erections than those who didn’t take the medication. Men with ED may have been able to stay in bed longer, which could be the reason they were taking the drug for longer. The results of the study show that men who took Viagra for a longer time may have been able to achieve better erections.
In addition, the study showed that men who took sildenafil had a higher rate of overall satisfaction with erections and overall satisfaction with overall erections. The researchers also found that men who took the drug for a longer time may be more willing to try ED treatments. This is important because men who don’t want to take the pill may feel that they need more sexual stimulation.

About the Study
The study analyzed data from more than 3,000 men who took sildenafil since it was first approved in the United States in 2003. The study included 2,844 men with ED who were randomly selected from the public health databases. Of the 2,44,891 men with ED, 1,056 (9.6%) were taking sildenafil. The remaining 1,087 (4.5%) were not taking sildenafil. The researchers analyzed the data from the U. National Institutes of Health (NIH), which funded the study.
The researchers then analyzed data from men who were not taking sildenafil. They analyzed the data from men who were taking Viagra or a generic drug for ED. The researchers also analyzed data from men who were taking Viagra in their home for ED.
In total, 8.6% of the 2,448 men who were taking sildenafil were taking Viagra. Of those, 10.3% were not taking the drug, and 5.5% were taking sildenafil at some point in their life.
Although sildenafil was the least effective treatment for ED, there were significant improvements in erections and overall satisfaction with ED in both men who took the drug and men who didn’t take it. The researchers found that men who took the drug for a longer time may have been able to achieve better erections and improve overall satisfaction with ED.
For men who took the drug for a longer time, erections improved by 4.8 points or 0.9 points in men who took sildenafil for a mean of 4.1 years. For men who didn’t take sildenafil, erections improved by 1.8 points or 1.2 points in men who took Viagra. The study also found that men who took the drug for a longer time may be more willing to try ED treatments.
“We believe that men with ED who are prescribed sildenafil may not have the right conditions to use it for long-term use,” Goldstein said. “This study supports the recommendations in the National Institutes of Health, and the National Institutes of Health, that men should try sildenafil only when they are in their 60s and 70s, and for the same reason that they are also prescribed sildenafil for ED, or for the same reason that they are also taking the drug for the same reason.”
According to the NIH, men who have erectile dysfunction can improve sexual function and sexual satisfaction through the use of sildenafil for a longer period of time.
